Naples, FL. September 10, 2009: The Collier Spay Neuter Clinic will be hosting the 2nd Annual PUBS 4 PAWS on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Panther Party
I am one of the Directors for a local non-profit animal sanctuary called Kowiachobee Animal Preserve.  As a matter of fact, I am the human mom to two (2) cougars that reside there.  My cougar \'son\' turns ten (10) on August 31st.  I decided a birthday party for him was necessary.

I started planning.  But I decided that we would make this party into a fundraiser for Kowiachobee Animal Preserve, as the economy has hit us hard, just like many other businesses and individuals.

As of today, August 27th, we have about 100 invited guests and volunteers attending this fundraiser/party on Saturday, August 29th.  I\'ve asked that gifts NOT be brought to Apache (aka Patch) for his birthday, but that attendees make a donation to Kowiachobee Animal Preserve instead.

Guests will be taken on a tour of the Preserve and will be feeding carrots to the horses, having their pictures taken with our resident alligator (her name is Alli Gator), and our rescued Percheron Draft Horse.  After lunch, kids can take a pony ride also.

Hamburgers/Hotdogs will be served, along with a birthday cake.
